Tomsicek Computer Services was started in 2001 by my self, John Tomsicek, and was later joined by my best friend Spencer Smith.
We started out with just word of mouth advertising, and over the years we had gradually added a yellow pages add, this web site, and items such as pens with our information on them. Even though we had added the additional advertising methods our best advertising was still word of mouth.
In January of 2008 I opted to simplify my life down to just the full time job with a regular pay check that I had always maintained, instead of trying transition to the hit and miss income of running a business (guess that's the disadvantage of doing the job right the first time), and handed the business over to Spencer Smith, who preferred the flexible hours of self employment over the headaches of working for someone else.
While the business was in business Spencer Smith handled all of the customers in his geographic area and the ones in my area when I was too busy. He also handled all of the custom builds (custom built PCs), including 3 for my immediate family members and one for me. In that time only mine has had to be replaced so far, and that was only after 5+ years of service all of which was the double duty service of a personal computer and a business computer used for doing backups and trouble shooting customer hardware. This is a very well built machine.
